Minazali Bhimji (Ali) imparts healing touch through massage
The following is from an article written in the Bonita Daily News on Saturday, September 16, 2006 by Brad Kane
Ali trained with his grandmother, Nanima, for 15000 hours to become an expert in Shiatsu. In the 15 years he worked with her to become a shaman, he also learned martial arts, herbalism, dancing and metaphysical healing.
"He just has that magic touch" said Estero resident Gita Patel, who sees Ali for physical & spiritual well being. The insight he is able to give with his touch is amazing.
Ali is a shaman, Shiatsu practitioner, father of 13, huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, spiritual lecturer and proprietor of Ancient Touch Massage Therapy in Bonita Springs. At Ancient Touch he offers acupressure, sports therapy, clinical therapy, spiritual guidance, Shiatsu and reflexology. Mostly he practices his own massage technique, which he calls Ancient Touch, a combination of shiatsu, reflexology, and myofascial techniques.
"The human being themselves are the healer; I am just the facilitator," Ali said. "I don't consider this work. It is play time-healing people.
His goal is to heal the disharmony in people's minds and spirits. When they can walk in harmony, they will have no fear, no doubt, and no anger. "That's the holy trinity to me". "If you can obtain that, we say you are walking with Christlight. That is the most powerful energy there is".
